2012 BikePacking Trip Planned - GET INVOLVED! PDF Print E-mail
Written by Robert "BEAN" Blanda

We just finished our first BikePacking trip and we loved it so much, we’re beginning to plan our next trip for Late May / Early June. If you’d like to see our video from this year, click here:

Here’s what we have planned so far:

  • 4-5 day trip
  • 40+ miles every day from one destination to the next.
  • Camp some days, Bed and Breakfast other days
  • Self-Supporting / Carry all your own gear. No vehicles/SAG will be on the path.
  • Must have Tent/Sleeping bags, etc. Racks/Pannier bags a must
  • All expenses split
  • Route begins on C & O canal bike path, but break-off path is *fine* gravel. Have touring tires ready.
  • We currently have about 4-5 people going, and I expect there to be more.

This is just our initial planning stage, so please reply to all when responding. We’d like to know what our headcount is going into this so we can make the appropriate arrangements.

This is a beginner/intermediate trip. If you’re new to this, don’t worry – we’ll help you (seems we’ve done this before). This is a no-drop ride, we all stick together. Consider it a party ;)

Here's a link to get you excited:

Happy Thanksgiving!

IMAG0090WeIMAG0164're mostly packed for a fun-filled adventure in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey - We'll be biking from Berlin into the Pine Barrens, specifically Godfrey Bridge. Two days of fun, riding, camping and certainly drinking lots of beer :) There's no cause. No reason.

We'll have the opportunity to get out of the office, hop on the bike and camp.

If you get the opportunity to come out and have a beer with us, feel free! send us an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
